Sermons and preachers
Author: Martin Lloyd-JonesCategoryDescriptionContentAuthorDetailsThis book is an excellent resource for students preparing for pastoral ministry, ordained preachers, evangelists, and anyone interested in preaching. It deals in detail with issues that concern both preachers and listeners. Dr. M. Lloyd-Jones is called "the last of the preachers." He himself, of course, would have refuted this statement, but no preacher in Great Britain gathered such large audiences and did not receive such a high rating.

In 1927 he married Bethan Phillips, also a doctor, and after leaving medicine he became a minister of the Presbyterian Church in Aberavon, South Wales. In 1938 he and his wife moved to London, where he was a co-curator of Westminster Chapel with Dr. George Campbell Morgan. He then began to preach to a wider audience and wrote books until his death in 1981. He and Mrs. Lloyd-Jones were married for fifty-four years.

Reformed pastor
Author: Richard BaxterCategoryDescriptionContentAuthorDetailsRichard Baxter, who was called "the greatest of the Puritans", wrote this book for all involved in pastoral ministry. This is an outstanding work, and it should be read by every novice minister who is preparing to work with the people under his care, and the sections devoted to the practice of ministry should be refreshed in memory at least once every three or four years. Speaking of a "reformed pastor," Baxter does not mean a pastor who advocates Calvinism, but one whose service to his people as a preacher, teacher, teacher of catechism, and role model shows that he is regenerated and transformed.

Paul's teaching about deacons
Author: Alexander StrokCategoryDescriptionContentAuthorDetailsAmong evangelical Christians, there are different opinions about the service of deacons, from church leadership to the maintenance of the church building. The author urges to evaluate the practice of service of deacons in the light of biblical teaching. He carries out a thorough exegesis of the New Testament texts about deacons and shows that the main role of deacons is to help the elders of the church. This study offers a basis for a broader consensus among biblical churches on the issue of the ministry of deacons. The book will be useful for pastors and ministers who strive to build a church service based on biblical principles.

The Church of Christ according to the plan of Christ
Author: Paul WasherCategoryDescriptionContentAuthorDetailsThe main task of this manual is to help readers meet God through His Word. The author is convinced of the divine inspiration and inerrancy of the Scriptures, therefore the manual is compiled in such a way that readers study it with an open Bible. We want to help them fulfill the command of the Apostle Paul from 2 Tim. 2:15: "Try to present yourself worthy to God, a workman blameless, faithfully teaching the word of truth."
Each chapter of the book is devoted to a certain aspect of the doctrine of the church. In each chapter you will find biblical instructions and practical exercises. We encourage you to read thoughtfully, reflect, and write down your thoughts. Reading this book will be useless for you if you just formally answer the questions and copy the biblical texts without understanding their essence.

Men and women in church
Author: Kevin DeYoungCategoryDescriptionContentAuthorDetailsIn this book, Kevin DeYoung reveals a very important and relevant topic about God's plan for men and women: about their equality, equal value and complementarity. In our time, when there are many radically opposing views on the role and place of men and women in various areas of life, it is important to return to God's Word to understand the truth. The book "Men and Women in the Church" helps to do this. It will be useful to a wide range of readers.

Expository jubilation
Author: John PiperCategoryDescriptionContentAuthorDetailsIn this book, John Piper makes a convincing statement about the purpose of the sermon: it should not just explain the text, but encourage worship, while the sermon itself is worship.
