The main advantages of the textbook: clarity, accessibility, organization. The textbook is a standard manual for colleges and seminaries. Since its first publication in 2001, it has helped more than 80,000 students learn biblical Hebrew.

The third edition of this textbook is a significant update and revision of previous editions with the goal of providing students with the best possible tools for studying biblical Hebrew.

The effectiveness of the textbook "Fundamentals of Biblical Hebrew" lies in the fact that it:
– the inductive and deductive approach is combined
- real examples from the texts of the Old Testament are used, not "invented" illustrations
- the emphasis is on the distinguishing features of the structure of the ancient Hebrew language, and not on the mechanical learning of a set of paradigms
– different colors are used to highlight the key features of nouns and verbs, which makes it easy to recognize new forms
- contains applications with verb paradigms highlighted in a second color with diagnostic signs for quick search
– a complete dictionary of words used in the textbook is included
- an enlarged font and text size are used to facilitate work
