Five hundred years ago, a monk named Martin Luther wrote his 95 Theses, hoping to spark a theological debate on sin and repentance at the University of Wittenberg in Germany. In this children's book, Simonetta Carr tells the fascinating story of the founder of the European Reformation, his search for peace with God, his heroic defense of God's truth, his family life, and his many accomplishments. Martin Luther's greatest achievement, the author says, "was his uncompromising emphasis on the promise of the gospel that has been given to us so freely."
