That is why the question of the inspiration of the Bible is so important: if it really comes from God, if it is endowed with His authority and is fully accessible to man, then the whole religion of revelation rests on a solid foundation. If one doubts the revelation or recognizes it only partially, in accordance with the experience or opinion of the reader, then everything wavers.
The purpose of this book is to first of all show that the Bible itself speaks about revelation and inspiration, then we will examine the testimonies of Christ and the Church about the Bible and, finally, we will make an overview of some of the opinions related to it.Read more
Doctor René Pasch was brought up in a Christian home under the guidance of a spiritual mother (his father died when the boy was ten years old). He received his doctorate in law in Lausanne, Switzerland. By that time he was still an unbeliever. As a lawyer, he joined the business staff of a large chemical plant in Basel, Switzerland. It was there, at the age of 24, that he was converted through reading the Bible, which he had acquired. In the end, he became one of the founders of the Christian brotherhood InterVarsity in Switzerland and France.
