Weeping is a way to bring our sorrows to God, but for many Christians today it has become a neglected aspect of the Christian life. We need to reclaim the practice of honest spiritual warfare that allows us to express our pain and wrestle with our sorrows. By avoiding clichéd answers and quick solutions, weeping gradually leads us to deeper worship and trust.

This book explores how the Bible can give voice to our pain through the words of the Psalms of Lamentation and the Book of Lamentations, and through such an examination, it challenges us to grieve, to struggle, and to draw from the rich source of grace and mercy that God offers in the darkest moments of our lives.
