Too often, genealogies are dismissed as uninteresting or, worse, boring. However, Reverend Abraham Park’s book demonstrates the great value, even the fascination, of an in-depth study of biblical genealogies. A solid foundation is essential to any solid structure. This is also true of Genesis, which is the solid foundation of our biblical faith. Genesis not only provides a basis for understanding our origins, it is also a basis for understanding ourselves and our relationships with God and with one another. The importance of Genesis as a fundamental paradigm for all Christian thought cannot be overstated.
