The Christian life is both harder and easier than we think. It is harder because dying to self, fighting the devil, and hating sin do not come naturally to us. But it is also easier because God does not require us to have many degrees, to work thirty hours a day, and to have unsurpassed organizational skills in order to be disciples of Jesus... All the Lord asks is to listen to Him and rely on Him in everything. Undoubtedly, this is a narrow and difficult path, and that is why few dare to walk on it. But true disciples willingly walk this path because they know that it is good and leads to life.
