If you think philosophy is irrelevant to your daily life, think again. You only have to look around the world to see how profoundly the ideas of historical thinkers still influence us today.

From ancient Greek thinkers like Plato and Aristotle, to Christian philosophers like Augustine and Thomas Aquinas, to modern thinkers like Kant and Nietzsche, Sproul traces the contours of Western philosophy throughout history and demonstrates the enormous impact these ideas have had on world events, theology, art, and culture – as well as on our daily lives.

By helping readers better understand how many of these ideas have shaped their own thinking, this book will inspire Christians to influence the world in a Christian way.
