Ian Murray believes that Jonathan Edwards cannot be understood apart from his faith. Only if they consider him first and foremost as a Christian, his life and work will make sense. The integrity of this interpretation is confirmed in this study, since in this book Edwards will "speak for himself" in each specific case. This beautiful biography will serve as a classic illustration of how the church today can and should learn through the history of its past.
